Whilst we are a club dedicated to The Foxhound, we wanted to incorporate a page on Harriers. At present the Harrier doesn't have their own breed club affiliated to the Royal Kennel Club. However, they do have an affiliated association to the British Hounds Association, the Association of Masters of Harriers & Beagles. 

In 2021 the RKC in conversation with the committee of AMHB & some owners of KC registered Harriers put together an interim breed standard. However, there is a need for this to be reviewed. Similarly to the Foxhound, the Harrier has 2 types, the AMHB Studbook type we have seen the Holcobme Hunt have success with at Crufts, and what is affectionately known as a West Country Harrier.
